Reminder the Winter Sports Banquet will be this Wednesday starting at 7pm at Westran HS Gymnasium. Sports being recognized will be Basketball and Cheer. Juniors/Seniors are encouraged to bring a side dish and Freshman/Sophomores a dessert.

Reminder: Westran will be in session on Monday March 10th. This was an original scheduled teacher work day but due to the inclement weather this is now a makeup day.
Reading Day was a success! Mrs. V's 5th grade class really enjoyed reading to 1st graders and having high school FTA students read to us!

Next week, WMS will be having a dress up week to celebrate National Reading Month!
We have also challenged students to a read-a-thon! Each grade and teachers are challenged to finish as many books and pass quizzes on them to see who can earn the most points during the month of March!

Congrats to the following for earning LCC All Conference basketball honors. Marshall Kitchen (POY), Cruze Haynes and Emma Wortmann (CO POY) were all selected to the 1st team. Jordan Black, Kharighan Fuemmeler, and Jaelyn Miller were all selected to the 2nd team. Congratulations!

Weights will be available for 6th-8th Grade on Monday and Wednesdays.
The speed days will be for 6th Grade and Non-Spring Sport athletes for both MS and HS on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
On Thursdays, 7th-8th Grade track athletes will have a 3rd day of weights offered.
